some sewing
Monday, November 21st, 2011
I did a bit more sewing before we headed out on our traveling adventures this month. I am trying to get A’s room finished slowly but surely. I still have a few more things to make, frames to buy and a side table to paint. When it finally gets done I’ll be sure to post completed pictures. I love how it is coming along so far.

First I made some simple curtains.
Then I embarked on a bedskirt. This was my inspiration and I wanted to incoorporate many of the colors I have been using in the room. It turned out great!

I ended up doing two layers and added the pom poms onto just the front side.

On the under layer I tried out my first box pleat. So easy!
Annnd, the nursery rocking chair/glider was finally delivered. I love it and LOVE having it in A’s room. It really makes a world of difference for this mama.
